We reworked several anchors and took out the extra trash. We gained 3 rapides because of unconventional anchor building. The anchor for the 90 foot rap is gone. We did not take the time to make a new one.

The canyon is dry.

We did the East Fork. The anchors are good. The canyon is mostly dry with one knee deep pool that is avoidable for most.

The canyon is in good shape with a few shallow pools of avoidable water.

All anchors good. There was one pool midway through the canyon that was chest deep. The pool at the bottom of the last rap is the smallest I have ever seen it. It is a deep wade.

Chamber of the Basilisk has seen water recently probably last week. There was no standing water, but the sand was wet. We cleaned the excessive webbing from the rappel anchor.

Zero Gravity was full of fresh water. The semi-keeper partway through the canyon was the fullest I have every seen it. The water was about 2 feet below the lip.

Soldier's Crossing is in great shape considering it is a 4WD road.

The water levels seemed low to me. The water was resonably fresh. There were a couple swims and several deep wades, but there were also long passages of dry gravel that are usually water ways. Many of the downclimbs are completely dry.

We removed excess webbing on a couple raps.

The gnats were a nuisance at camp when the air was still. A 50/50 mix of Skin-so-soft/water seemed to help immensely.

Soldier Crossing and road is in great condition. The shrubs and flowers are in full bloom with dozens of varieties to photograph.

We didn't hit water until the first rap. Then there were several swim/deep wades in fresh water to shortly before the ruins. These are 'low' water conditions.

Both raps are in good condition.

Merry Piglet is dry except for the pothole in about the middle of the canyon which was thigh deep. Some people climbed around it on the left (LDC). We cleaned up the anchors by cutting out excess webbing, replacing worn webbing and/or rusty rapides.

There are 2 elegant rock chock anchors of note in the canyon, the very first and the very last.

Foolin' Around was dry except for the usually wet last section of narrows before the final rap. We cleaned up the first 2 raps removing extra webbing. We hiked out just before the last narrows, doubling back to our cars left at the upper trailhead.

No Kidding was completely dry and anchorless with very few (and minor) rope grooves.

We descended Not Mindbender using the short route. There were 3 pools of minor water (ankle deep); one was terribly stinky. There is no anchor at the 15 foot slide. Most of the group got a meat anchor. The last man did a pack drag with a capture at the bottom. The other 2 raps had new webbing and were in good condition. The last rap has a new bolt placed with additional backup from a chockstone.

The rope grooves are becoming a hazard to the webbing part of the anchor and to the ropes being used. I recommend people take the time to make a completely new anchor to the far right (LDC)at the 2nd rap.

Lucky Charms had several minor pools of water. Took down rope that was left hanging some months ago.

East Lep had minor water is several places from mid-canyon down.
