A warm day meant that some (1) in our group didn't mind getting a bit wet, while others opted to utilize a guided rappel after rap 6--either way the water wasn't too rank. First time through for us but seemed like the canyon was pretty dry. Anchors and webbing in good shape.

Combo'd with Das Boot. 12 hrs for six of us taking our sweet time. Ditched wetsuits after the last rap and were happy we did.

Agree with Basecamp5. We had a variation of cold protection from drysuit to sleeveless wetsuits. People without sleeves, neo socks and gloves were quite chilled, people with full 4/3 were a bit cold, and a 4/3 with 3mm jacket was comfortable. Neoprene socks and gloves strongly recommended.

Great day and great canyon. Dry suits kept us warm through several icy swims. Some ice and snow, especially before the first rap. Not even a semi-keeper in sight, probably too full for that. A bit of ice on the first anchor and the ledge to it, but we were fine without crampons. Could winter conditions get any better?

Completely dry and a great (warm) winter trip. Used existing bolts next to huge natural anchor. Road access in good shape for all vehicles.

Dry with a few potholes which are easy to avoid (and no more than thigh deep). All webbing in good shape. Water flowing well in the exit canyon, ankle deep at worst. Road accessible by all vehicles.
