Englestead is running a bit wet right now. A trickle of water running over the first rap will get you wet from the start. Two potholes were swimmers. My son and I run hot and did it without wetsuits (including exit down Orderville) and felt fine. My two companions had wetsuits and said they were glad to have them in Englesltead, but weren't really necessary for Orderville/Narrows.

Great Canyon! Very little water. A few pools at the start, all less than knee deep. Dry through the rest of the canyon. Anchors in good shape. 4 people, took 15 hours using the Chimney Rock exit. The exit felt very long.

Wife 3 and 5 completely dry. All Anchors in good condition. There is an anchor set up for the down climb in Wife 3, but I would recommend that you not use it. It is a much easier down climb than rap. Beefed up the last deadman's anchor in Wife 5.

Mild weather, low water conditions. Just a few holes were swimmers, but no long stretches. Used a 4/3 wetsuit and was comfortable.

Boundary completely dry, no water in the canyon at all. Water in Oak Creek was never deeper than mid-thigh. Mild weather. Did not use a wetsuit. All anchors in good condition.

Did the sport entrance as we had a larger, less experienced group of 9. Water was generally low. There were no long swims. Roughly thigh high water. The last pothole was full of water and we just swam across. The water was cold, but not excessively so. Wetsuits were optional and two went through without them. 14 hours car to car, with an hour spent at the Cathederal and another hour at the river before hiking out.

2.5 hrs car to car for 8 people. We did one rappel. Used handlines/downclimb at the two deadman's anchors. No water anywhere. About 30 min drive to the TH from Hole in the Rock Road. A solidly fun canyon.
