Josh's Canditions

The canyon was very dry, didn't get wet until close to the end of the canyon. The deepest pool came to my upper thighs. Didn't use or want a wetsuit.

The first keeper was totally dry, and could be escaped with a pack toss or partner assist. The second keeper was almost full of sand with a bit of shallow water and was easy to boost myself out of.

Anchors all seemed solid and webbing was in good conditions.

Did West Baker only. Water was very low, didn't require any swimming or wetsuits. There was one very tight spot that many canyoneers will have to stem over.

Most drops had good anchors. We built a cairn at one drop (there may have been a bolt that we missed). The bolts at the final drop had loose hangers, which was a bit worrying but they seemed usable for now.

Overall the canyon was enjoyable and scenic, but the long approach and exit make it less worthwhile than some of the other canyons in the area.
