Lower narrow section of Englestead had 1 frigid cold swim and a couple of wading pools. A shorty wetsuit was adequate though quite cold. A 3/4 long wetsuit got really warm hiking in the 80 degree weather. There was a little mud in the canyon but not excessive. There was a very cold wind blowing at the top of the first rappel at 7:15 am. Group of 3 took 8.5 hours from TH to Temple of Sinawawa. We're efficient and we take time to take lots of pictures... and a poop break out of the wetsuit. Overall a very lovely day in a very lovely canyon.

Full of water. Keeper full and easy to get out alone. Not stinky. Beautiful.

Did it during the late evening. The shadows were interesting and it was nice. Saw a bat flying around. Cold. Full of water.

Lovely and full of water. We brought wetsuits, probably could've done it without them, however, it wasn't unpleasant with them on, and I prefer to be safe than sorry. My permit paper said it was a high of 91.

Lower Das Boot to the Subway- Wasn't flowing until about halfway through. Water was clear after that. Hot day (reported to be a high of 88), but pleasant hiking weather. 2 of 3 of us wore dry suits with fleece and were comfortable. We probably would've been okay with our 3/4 wet suits. the other wore a long 3/4 wet suit on top of a shorty and didn't seem to get too cold but kept moving and went ahead to sit in the sun.

Beautiful day in a beautiful canyon following a 2.5 hr wait to drop into the canyon itself. Several groups of canyoneerers came and left when they saw how many people were at the top.

Left car at 11:30 am. Dropped into the canyon at 2:30pm. Returned to car at 7pm. Group of 12.

Lovely weather at a high of 69. We were able to avoid getting our feet wet. Absolutely gorgeous fall leaves. 9 hrs for a meandering group of 3 taking lots of pretty pictures :).

One member complained often it wasn't strenuous enough. It was his first canyon. He's a pretty intense rock climber and expected to be climbing the entire time.
