Flow!!! I'm bad at estimating but it was more than a trickle through the whole canyon. Pools were clear and cold. Great conditions!!!! Fyi: the nps has closed the road leading down to the west rim trail about 0.5 miles back. No clue why. The road isn't damaged. Party of 2: 8.5hrs TH to TH.

No webbing at the first rappel: we fiddled off a likely tree. Anchors in good shape.

Flowing!!! Shorty wetsuit or top recommended.... though long hiking stretch between narrows. Anchors in good shape. Fyi: white canyon flowing big time. Ruins very hard to climb to. Moki steps come in from above RDC.

Road in decent shape. Canyon is wet, splash fest. Wet suit hardly needed depending on your speed. Note: white canyon is currently flowing and must be crossed (if you dare).

Muuuuuddy! Slow secondary to mud. Decent roads. No wetsuits needed. Anchors in good shape. Descended all the way to powell: 6.5 hrs RT.

Note: keeper in keeper mode. We had someone batman around it without getting wet....normal human beings will have to go in. Lip is 2 ft.

Great canyon. We brought a bolt kit per previous groups suggestions. We did not have time to replace bolts. There are a number of aging bolts in the canyon, some of which maybe shouldn't be trusted. We cut/replaced a bit of webbing. Big rap went swimmingly.

Wetsuits not needed though there was more than 1 swim and lots of wading. A little chilly at the big rap.

Mud. Mud. Mud. Slowed us . 10hrs trailhead to lees ferry. River was calm and moving steadily.

Note: short shuttle road sttttttill isn't fixed. The car spot is a bear.

Buckskin was dry. Only 1-2 mandatory wades (ankle deep). The infamous cesspool didnt exist. The handline at the rockfall needs replacing. 8hrs, wire pass to Paria Confluence.

Paria is muddy but the hiking is easier than in buckskin. Very little quicksand. Wades were never above the knee.

Camping was abundant. We carried copies of the Kelsey guide and Grand Canyoneering's Paria Chapter.

The springs are abundant, but often VERY small (with the exception of Big Spring which is like a bathtub faucet.) We used a gravity feed Sawyer filter and attempted to allow water to settle overnight in empty water jugs that we brought. We had to filter direct river water twice and it clogged the filter. No snakes. Comfortable temperatures.

Total trip: 3 days Wire Pass to Lee's Ferry.

House Rock Valley Rd. is Rough but is 2WD compatible (assuming you dont like your car)

DRY. DRY. DRY. Only 1-2 mandatory wades (no more than ankle deep). The infamous cesspool didnt exist. There is a VERY beat up handline hanging at the rockfall. Rope core strands are visible and showing wear. I suggest the next group through replace it for everyone's safety.

Very little mud. LOTS of dry sand which makes hiking slow.

8hrs, wire pass to Paria Confluence with full packs, party of five, and lots of stops for photos. Total trip: 3 days Wire Pass to Lee's Ferry.

Dry. Dry. Dry. Zero Water. Zero Mud. All webbing was in excellent shape.

Party of 5 took 6 hours car to car with a 30 minute lunch break at the Colorado. The (downstream) exit caught us off guard a bit. It required some low & exposed 5th class climbing. The crux looks rather impossible from a distance but becomes more clear when getting closer. Stay low on the boulder scrambling until the valley is reached. Going high requires the traverse and climbing of a VERY dangerous gully.

Dry. Dry. Dry. Zero Water. Zero Mud. Sand at every rappel. We ferried sand once just to be safe, however, it wasnt necessary. Ideal conditions.

Party of 5 took 6 hours (car to car) with a 40 minute lunch break and LOTS of photo stops. We had little/no prior sandtrap experience...but we sure do now.

Road is 2WD compatible.

Similar to previous posts. Quicksand was non existent. No keepers. Swam over everything. Splash splash. Bolts and webbing satisfactory. Replaced nothing. 11hrs grotto to grotto with two people. 3:45am start. Frost noted on west rim trail. 3hrs to first rap. Both parties wearing 4\5 mm wetsuits. One got a little chilly, other was warm.

Road to factory butte accessable to trailhead. Last three miles damaged but ok with 4wd only. One pothole requiring escape.

The second in the first set is in full keeper mode. Water levels 2 feet below high water mark. 7hrs with two car to car.

DONT suit up at first rappel/swim. There is a LONG dry section afterwards. One of us suited up and the other did not. The one who didn't seemed happier with his decision.

Can access within 0.8miles of the trailhead with 4x4. A small "road" has started to form out in the desert. With a shovel and 45 mins the trailhead might again be accessible.....though its probably just easier to walk if you're not doing eardley. Cyn is full full full with clean water. 2 people 2.25 he's from washout car to car. 0.8 miles from th.

Pulled off a hat trick in poison spring: constrictnine, arscenic, slidenide....and finished the day in zero g. Small wades and a bit of in poison spring canyons. Nasty pull in the first rap series in arscenic. We rapped the first 60ft and reset the rappel for an easier pull. Webbing acceptable in all canyons. 7.25hrs for all 3 poisons springs canyons. We discovered numerous escapes on to the bench that saved lots of time
