This canyon doesn't get enough love. Yes it is very short with only 1 rappel and 50 yards of narrow canyon and during the summer it's probably just an after dinner canyon. That being said, with the fresh snow in the area, Winter Camp was just Beautiful. Simply walk down to the rap and then drop 181 feet into a cold and snowy slot. Then simply walk out to a spot of your comfort and exit to the right. It took us 1hr to car to car including rope retrieval. If there is too much snow to do MMI and Lost and Found a quick trip down Winter Camp is worth it.

The most favorite of the 2 in the area. (Repeater) But they are so close to each other it's worth it. The views at the top of the rap are amazing!!! An arch is visible way off in the distance as well. Not sure which one it is but loved the view. The rap is pretty fun as well. Leaving the rope and going back works really well as it did in Repeater.

Canyon is dry. If driving in from Colorado, the driving route from Cisco is more straightforward than the driving route from the Yellowcat Exit off I-70.

Fun, 2-stage rappel to the bottom. Going to prescribed exit can make for a long, hot hike. I'd try to get out as soon as you feel you can make the climb to the top of the slot, and get back to the road and some A/C.

Awesome Country! Looking into this slot canyon was amazing. The rappel was really really cool! We left our rope and came for it later. That worked our really well, and we appreciated the "lack" of weight as we hiked out of the canyon. Weather was 60+ degrees and perfect! 3 of us did this canyon combined with 3 other canyons for the day. AWESOME!

Easy, everything was dry and simple. Pulled some webbing off the top anchor but there was one we couldn't get (didn't have a knife). The rope grooves are getting bad here, try to use some caution with them. Really surprised at the quality of this canyon. It isn't the deepest/darkest/narrowest but it is beautiful and easily accessible!

Anchor replaced due to nick in main webbing. The rappel is sweet. Unfortunately when rope was thrown down, it somehow hooked over the chokestone in the slot about 50 feet off the ground. Took about 10 minutes to finally get the rope unhooked. Be careful where you throw the rope. Narrows are quite nice.

Road was fine, should be passable by any carefully driven passenger car. Canyon was dry, and quite short. Essentially, it's just one cool rappel with a walk.
