Dry, hot, bees, shrubs not that exciting. Anchors were all good. Just pretty brown and bushy.

Very brushy and debris-filled. Lots of insect activity including bees, midges, and wasps. Some moist, muddy spots but the whole of the canyon was very dry. New webbing on most raps, but we did replace the webbing on the 8th rap and someone should cut away some older webbing at some point soon.

Saw a few small patches of poison oak. Canyon was very dry. Bolts and webbing all in decent condition (a few spots where webbing may need to be replaced in the coming months). Definitely keep your eyes open for loose rocks in sloping areas. Great time!

A fun canyon. Bone dry during our pass through it. Don't even need water shoes. Group ahead of us put new webbing on a few rappels, so all in good condition now. Watch out for poison oak.

Prepare for alot of bushwhacking. All the flowering shrubs have dried out and when you contact them they burst into a cloud of dust which ends up all over you. Saw one juvenile rattler coiled up by the second rap. Lots of poison oak around as well....Lots of flying insect activity throughout the entire canyon and the bottom of the 100 footer and the final rap has bee activity. Replaced the webbing at the free hanging rap into the narrow section. I would avoid this one unless you really need a short, rappel heavy practice route.

Canyon is considered dry.......There is water here and there but none flowing. Lots of bushwhacking, some poison oak here and there not too major. Weather was great but still had a bowling ball size rock come down right into the narrow section after the free hanging rap. Watch out for loose hangers on the raps towards the end. Second to last rap someone built a shelter frame with branches and duct tape. Not sure if the area is being occupied by homeless cause no one was around. Last rap is slippery with algae.

Putting in some conditions of canyons that have not been updated in a while. Back in August of this year Bailey was completely dry except for a 6" pool at the base of one fall. Lots and lots of Poison Oak so long pants and sleeves would be a good thing. Replaced a couple of anchors who's webbing had seen its prime.
