Anchors were all good. Some pools, only knee deep at most in two spots. The large pothole had even less water, but a snake was in there to spice things up.

Completely dry. Only one keeper pothole that was easily bypassed on the left wall. All others were filled in with sand. Lots of anchor building material. Rebuilt several bad anchors. A few fun downclimbs. A horrible bushwhack at the end in Beaver Canyon and a long climb out. Unless conditions change drastically I'd skip this one.

A real winner. Lots of fun, problem-solving downclimbs. A couple are a bit spicy, more of an intermediate level. Keeper potholes dry and lots of fun to pass in various ways; good practice. Created a new deadman anchor at the penultimate rappel, as it was missing. Other anchors in good shape. Dry. 4 hours car-to-car with a big group of 11. Road in great shape, but you'll definitely want a high-clearance vehicle for the slickrock section. Subaru Outback and Toyota Sequoia were fine, with some care.

Canyon was in great shape. Removed some hardware store rapids. Lots of poo mud. Two keepers defeated with a boost. Down climbs are straight forward, rapped three drops. Two hours.

Designating Benign as a "mini-slot" is misleading. There's more action here than in most of the Irish canyons. Canyon was completely dry except for one spot of avoidable water near the beginning. No water even at the very end. So the keeper pothole provided a good escape practice opportunity. Nice variety of down-climbs, stems, etc. Road to the canyon was in good shape, but would recommend vehicle with better ground clearance for a couple of spots. Took 4 of us 4 hours to complete car-to-car with lunch break. About half hour drive in time. Difficult to find the exit with all the brush. it really is only a "few minutes" up the canyon. We went too far. This coordinate may help: 12S 0538897 4234797.

Road was dry & easy to drive.

No snow to be found, except in small shaded patches down in the canyon. Some potholes had solid ice in them, most were bare.

Lots of ice and snow through the canyon and approach. Road requires high clearance and 4x4 to get through the snow. Anchors in good shape. Potholes full of ice. Exit was great, however, clear of snow and ice.
