Chambers

No water. Great weather this time of year. Took 5 of us about 5 hours (with two very new beginners). The upclimb was pretty strenuous and stressful for the beginners. A 200lbs friend was going to come and decided not to, which, after doing the canyon, we decided was a very good idea. I think this was more narrow than Shenanigans and Middle Leprechaun. Very fun canyon.
No water. Someone has scratched arrows into the walls at the crux section that indicate where to climb high. The crux was too narrow and strenuous for our group to pass at head height so we stemmed 5m off the deck to pass it.
Chambers was completely dry, and the road leading to it had few sand dunes. If you go slow and steady, almost all cars could make it to the TR now.
Most of this was squeezing, until the upclimb. It got much harder then. This would be dangerous if you weren't skinny. A favorite! Fun and gorgeous!
Three or so wades. At least one was unavoidable and to the waist.
Road was fine in a Subaru Outback. Most sedans could do it, with a little road alteration and speed through soft spots.
The weather was nice (I think it's a little colder than usual). Nighttime was cool. The first half of the day was cloudy and pleasant. Very hot exit.
If it's cool I would wait to do this until light was overhead. You could tell how beautiful the glow would be.
Amazing place for stargazing. There was a moonless sky and we could see the Milky Way from horizon to horizon with our naked eyes.
About 4 hours. Very relaxed pace.
Road out there was in decent condition. My small suv was able to make it just fine.
The only water in the canyon was below the boulders at the top of the lower section. You'd have to backtrack to even see it so completely avoidable.
At the skinny crux someone scratched two arrows pointing up into the wall. I splashed a little water on each and rubbed to at least get rid of the discoloration but they'll likely be there forever. Disappointing.
To whoever did this, I imagine you were trying to be helpful but please don't damage the canyon.
dry canyon. road was pretty washboarded but nothing terrible, passable by Subaru outbacks and other similar cars. do little bull after!
Roads are good, no snow, 4x4 recommended. The canyon was dry, no snow on the exit. Little Bull Canyon is a great addition to a Chambers day.
Amazing Canyon! There was a little water at the end but not a big deal. Make sure you read the driving beta correctly, as we made one wrong turn that ended up costing a few hours of trying to figure out where we went wrong. Dont forget that sometimes you need to go high if you need to avoid the super narrow sections. The actual slot only took 45 min or so but not our first run through it.
totally dry.
Chambers is completely dry.
Very little water, all can be avoided. Stayed on bottom for first part, up high in second. Recommend no pack, 4 hours. Very nice and fun.
Very tight, go in with padding/protection only. One section had ankle deep water that wasn't avoidable. One up climb is ~20' right after the boulder and takes some work and skill. Be prepared for it.
Awesome challenge and fun.
Awesome. Totally dry. Great canyon. Roads were in great shape.
Canyon was dry overall, no wading required. This canyon is very tight and a small pack and small body are important. It was a serious workout getting thru, but a lot of fun, great views and a fun hike out.
Dry and insanely hot. 6 liters of water required per person. There were hundreds of daddy long legs in the canyon to keep you company.
Stay away until the fall!!
Dry.
