Canyon and anchors are all in good condition. We both agreed - not enough juice for the squeeze. Long walk.

This is a great canyon! Very easy technically, but the approach and exit are much longer than the slotty narrows. Took a party of 2 9.5 hours, including a one hour break and landscape photography. Be sure to drop in at the right spot, there is a little side fork near the canyon head that threw us for a second. There was water, one swim, plenty of wades, but we didn't ever don our wetsuits. There were 2 other groups of 2 doing the canyon, I was surprised to see anyone out there.

Make sure and do the Gravel exit, the chamber is too magical to pass up.

Canyon started out surprisingly dry in the upper end but more water encountered as we progressed. No trouble following the cow trail in. First drop was more than 27 ft. A 73 ft. rope barely made the ground doubled over from the anchor on the right. Some opted to do the chute slide-in here with belay backup. Very fun. The drop in Gravel just at the early exit is remarkable. Pine Creek like chamber with an arch. We found no anchor so used a large "horn" of rock overlooking the drop and used a retrievable sling anchor. The large pool below was fairly shallow. Continued down Gravel but climbed out a little early because of time limitations. Plenty of water sections overall refreshed by the recent rains. Could be done with shorty wetsuits or none at all if temps are warm.
