Water to thigh deep and some mud. Did the shorter drop entrance and there are two anchors with webbing on boulders. Opted for the one down canyon.

Fun canyon with a giant rap! We rapped off of the boulder and it was fun. Not much water, maybe knee deep at the most. Easy get in and easy out, pretty straight forward canyon. Enjoy the great view when exiting the canyon!

WOW!!! What a great canyon and Oct seemed to be the perfect time to do it. Car to car in 5 hrs with a group of 5 and using the big drop entrance. Only one spot had waist deep water which some avoided while other could not. So much reward for so little slog back makes for a must do canyon

Did the big Rappel off the car. Canyon had a lot of knee to waist deep water with a couple of spots that were chest deep/swimmers. No wetsuits needed, warmed up quickly after getting out of each pool. 3 people, four hours car to car.

Tons of mud, but pretty straight forward. We took an early exit. Anchored off of a vehicle for the big rap, all other anchors are in good condition.

Dry. We anchored the first rap off a truck (not more than 270ft, maybe less) and ended up using the webbing found at the 'spicy down climb'. If using a vehicle for the first rap please take the time to carefully place your rope to avoid creating more grooves. We were able to haul the rope up while locked off 5 ft down in order to avoid grooves on the pull.

Our mixed group of 5 took less than 3 hrs round trip.

An Outback would make it to Egypt 2 trailhead without a problem.

Bone Dry. Egypt Road is in excellent condition.

100% Dry; easy canyon to do. Probably best to exit on Canyon Left than Canyon right as the Canyon Right exit seemed to have a larger detour to get back to the vehicles.

Sling on boulder in good condition for the alternative shorter entrance rappel. Second rappel easy to rig from chockstone at top. Most potholes were low or dry. No new difficulties compared to previous years except rocks have moved in slot below the second rappel making the downclimbing option harder.

Almost dry! We skipped the first giant rap. The second rap to enter the canyon had been removed, so we set one up on a secure rock and left it for others. There was only one more short rap after that. Kelsey indicated a third, but we didn't see/need it. There were 3-4 short muddy wades, but no total immersion. Conditions were mostly dry. This was a great canyon for a half day.

Walked in E2 from middle section, skipped all the raps since thunderstorm was in the forecast. Its a Mud Fest, almost knee deep mud that can't be avoided in a couple of potholes. We removed our shoes and that was still good fun.

Some beta says the first rappel is 230 feet. Be warned this is a 278foot drop and a 300 foot rope or two shorter ropes with a knot pass are required to do the rappel.
