Did the short route and combined it with No Kidding. 4 people (1 newbie) took 7:45 to run both car to car. The swimmer was full and beautiful!!! Aquamarine water that was colder than a witches tittie. Replaced the webbing on the 30m rap just before the hike out. Great little canyon but regret not taking the extra hour to do the upper section

Return to scene of the crime. This really is an excellent canyon and a good step-up from the Irish group. Anchors at both raps okay but second rap anchor more difficult to inspect, plus that rap has a difficult start. Minor water in spots in upper section was avoidable. The final narrows with the water - cold. Wish I had my neo socks, & the swim was very cool as well, but our party of 5 went through with no wetsuits on a sunny, warm day & were fine. This canyon has some long skinny sections & can require some higher stemming for even mid-sized canyoneers.

An excellent canyon - deserves more attention. A "step up" from east fork Leprechaun. The fun starts out right away. Majority of the down climbing problems are in the upper half. Lower half is more narrow corridor sections. No anchor at the first rap so set in a new sling & rap ring. Second rap anchor okay. After that, remove harnesses but daisy chain still useful for packs. Ryan's directions would lead you to believe that the water section comes soon after the boulder down climb, a narrow stretch and then an open area. Actually there's yet one more set of narrows and another opening for escape. Then the water begins which was shallow until the one pool where we did have to swim. No wetsuits used. You get into the sun within minutes of the swim. Did the short exit from just above the big rap by going out the east side. Exit about 50 yards back from the big drop. Went up a crack 20 feet & then traversed. No more than 4th to low 5th class. 3 people - 5.5 hours.

Water to knee deep in about 5 places. We skipped the swimmer at the end. Playin Around had water to knee deep when starting from the bottom and going upcanyon to the dryfall (very scenic and recommended).

A nice canyon with a few different exit points. Webbing at Raps 1 and 2 was in good shape. Like others, we bailed out before the last really narrow section with water. Other than that section (which we slithered down to see), the canyon was dry. I only rate it a 3 because it is unchallengingly narrow for a bit too long. The fun downclimb to narrow slithering ratio just isn't high enough. Still, quite enjoyable with a reasonable exit hike. Bring a good climber if exiting right above the narrow watery section, as the first 50 feet are a bit steep. Other exits upcanyon looked easier.

There are anchors in place at the first two rappels. We encountered knee deep wading.

After the second 30' rappel, the canyon opens up and a prominent side canyon enters from the left(east). Here our group exited up the west side and hiked back to the car, so I've got no update on the lower half.

Dry until the tight watery slot. Looks like there was running water(spring fed?)in it, so still wading to be had. Wasn't too cold though. Anchors were all nicely set up. Great long canyon with lots of variety. Plenty of places to bail if need be. Didn't check out rap 3. Vava VOOM

Foolin' Around was dry except for the usually wet last section of narrows before the final rap. We cleaned up the first 2 raps removing extra webbing. We hiked out just before the last narrows, doubling back to our cars left at the upper trailhead.
