Canyon was in dry condition. Very little water and/or mud and was able to avoid the little that was there. This is a long day. First 1.5/2 hours is all easy. Then it finally gets tough after having suckered you in. Physically demanding & technically challenging. Some intensely narrow sections & some high stemming. Beta we had for the "Good Day Jim" exit was not complete enough so wasted some time locating the right way. These two coordinates should help. The first is just a few hundred yards up the exit, the next is further up and should set you on a right course. 1. (UTM) 12 S 0537411 4165611 2. 12 S 0537335 4165736

Roads in were all okay. Anchors were not the best. Did a little work on some. Some had a cheap hollow aluminum ring. Might be good to replace some of these or backup as we did with your own link.

HDH was a hoot. We thought for sure it would be wet since it had been raining the two days before. But it was dry. Road was solid as well. We had to replace some webbing and build a new anchor at the big boulder that blocks canyon. Go up and to the right. Great canyon.

Very, very, narrow and strenuous. And multiple long sections of skinniness. Most drops are down climbable with some careful partner assists and ingenuity. Some high stemming required.

Water up to our waist in a couple of sections. Potholes were possible to get out of solo.

There is one section, toward the end after the boulder debris that is extremely tight. Most will get stuck at that point. Be careful.

This ranks as one of the best!

The canyon is completely full of water from the recent rains. We did have to rebuild a couple of deadman anchors. Also, there is now a bypass rappel of two shorter drops, with a long drop from a new anchor into a pool. The rap is about 60-65 ft. Super fun canyon!

We did Hard Day Harvey from the lake. All anchors/webbing in good condition. No water anywhere on this route. Take more water than you think you will need.

We walked around the entry rap at the carmel layer, and the two raps we did in canyon had decent anchors in place (we downclimbed "R2" under the big boulder). Canyon was bone dry. The road out has a sandy section that could be a problem on return w/o 4WD. Great canyon.
