8 hours with 9 people, most were beginners.

Stinky thigh-deep water is avoidable at the bottom of the last slot rappel.

Fun down-climbs. Moki entrance would be foolish to attempt unprotected, a rap is setup at the entrance drop-in. Through-out the canyon the webbing was in good shape. Good chock stones protect each rappel. No bolts needed. Many of the “rappels” were easily down-climbed.

Dark, mid-canyon, down-climb had fixed webbing hand-line. Last wide canyon rappels are avoidable by hiking the cliff bands to the south and needs to be rerigged with the anchor extended to the edge. Bring knee pads, head lamps, and gloves.

Great canyon but a hot, sun-exposed exit with lots of vertical. The exit crack is obvious but beginners may want a hand-line for protection.

I would repeat Steves headlamp comment for emphasis. Have done Larry a few times, but there is a lot of new high debris in the tight section that made it almost black down on the deck, we tweaked an ankle sliding down to the deck because the slider didn't even see it coming.

All anchors in great shape. One pool below R2, avoidable with decent static stemming techniques, but only knee-deep for 20' for n00bs. Beautiful canyon and adventure. The '4th class' exit crack has a lot of exposure, and a good semi-deadman up top - more than 100' from the bottom if you establish a handline from it.

Lots of water, a couple places my wife could not touch bottom (She is 5'4"). Anchors all still good. Bolts on last rap now gone, plenty of natural features to choose from. Took us 7 hours.

Very little water or mud. Stemmed all but one muddy spot. Anchors good, tricky starts but makes rope pull easier. Group of 14 in 7.5 hours.

All water down to ankle deep. It is getting HOT in this area, bring lots of water!

A few knee-deep sections, one short waist-deep section.

Knee deep wading. Took our group of 9 (1 noob, but didn't slow us) probably under 7 hours if you exclude our side adventure. Photos:
