This was a dry, fun, short canyon with a nice little stemming section and pretty arches. I wish we could have done the long shuttle exit--the formations are beautiful on the hike and it's safe.

NOTE: To approach the canyon, face the kiosk, walk through the entry in the fence and turn RIGHT immediately. The beta was confusing and we wasted time following roads along various fences.

WARNING: the shortcut exit up the slickrock mountain is TERRIFYINGly high, sandy, angled, exposed and dangerous. One person (a climber) packed climbing shoes and still had no faith she wouldn't balance wrong and cheese grate over 100 ft. down. In rain or wind this would be a nightmare.

Go to the end of this post for a photo of the exit that gives you an idea but still doesn't do it justice: http://www.mobius.photography/2017/03/29/getting-lost-at-lost-and-found-canyon/

Good condition. No snow or ice in canyon or on climber exit.

Too much snow on the climb out (shorter loop route). Not recommended until snow melts. We found 2-4 inches of very loose slippery snow. Went and scouted the exit and decided not to go.

No surprise...it was VERY hot. Everything was in good condition. If you start early (7AM) you can avoid some of the heat on the walk/climb out.

Canyon in good condition, a few shallow puddles. Anchors are in good condition. Wear high traction shoes if taking the climbing exit out.

Beautiful. Anchors in good shape. We rebuilt a few. We took the hiker's exit for folks without a car shuttle. We were very grateful for sticky rubber shoes and a detailed topo map for the exit. I would not take newbies with regular shoes up that trail.

Fun Canyon! All anchors in good shape. Did the route in 3 hours. The weather was perfect at 60+ degrees!
