We skipped the last section of narrows. But in the first section of narrows, there were several sections of knee-deep water and a long, unavoidable pool of chest-deep water.

There is one long freezing pool that is unavoidable. Consider stripping down and carrying your clothes across. Otherwise very good conditions.

Several unavoidable thigh to waist deep pools. Replaced anchor webbing at first rap (from small pine). Final existing rap anchor (constructed from a nut and two knotted pieces of webbing in crack) still in good shape.

Only 2 rappels in this canyon. First was at the 27 ft drop and was anchored securely from a wedged deadman in a tight corner. Second, big, final rappel was anchored by a sling with large knot wedged into a vertical crack and then backed up with a small, wire nut lower down in the same crack. There were three places of unavoidable water: a small pool at the bottom of rappel #1 (waist deep & deep, soft mud), then a much large pool just below there and at the bottom of the final rappel. Highest water came to about mid-stomach if you found the right route through the murky stuff. Last section of narrows is definitely the best and very fun. Large framed canyoneers will struggle some but should be able to make it. Remote, wilderness feel to this canyon & fairly challenging route finding for the return.
