A few muddy spots but mainly dry. First rap is done from a shrub high on the right LDC. The two-stage rap into a beautiful carved room is breathtaking. Very last obstacle before the climb out ended in an unavoidable hip-deep pool about 25' long, with slick mud on the bottom and walls. Beautiful fun canyon, not sure why it doesn't get more props.

Ranger at Hans Flat reported heavy rains and water flow in canyons previous weekend so we found substantial water in this canyon. Did not use wetsuits. Temps in upper 70's. Flat camp spot .5 mile past the intersection on the right overlooking the canyon. Extended anchor at first rappel to reduce drag on rope pull. Next bigger obstacle of two shallow potholes with pools (knee deep) had deadman anchor built so we rappelled. (40 ft. appx.) Last rappel presently has blue webbing wrapped around the pinch between chockstone and canyon wall. Watch the pull here. Overall, two wades of at least chest deep, especially the last one; many more shallower pools. Water level has already receded about 16" or more from previous weekends level.

Note: If using Climb-Utah exit coordinates, you can still proceed down canyon past his exit for one more set of short, but worthwhile narrows, then the canyon opens and drops substantially into wider canyon as it turns to the ESE.

No water until the end of the very last slot section. That pool is waist deep and maybe 50 feet long, but unavoidable. Replaced webbing on first rappel, other anchors were in good shape. Great canyon.
