All anchors in great shape. Flow was perfect, a bit up from two weeks ago. All but cup 1,3, and 6 have jump potential. Super fun canyon. Kern is so warm compared to the creek. Fun to just float in wetsuit down the Kern a bit.

Great water level for a first time, Perhaps a little mellow though.

Bolts were cut from station below register box. Not knowing where the hidden rock below was, we meat anchored two of the ladies down to play ATC.

Approach - easy and straightforward to find. Watch out for the poison oak! Also if you have two cars, spot one at the dirt road to start to save 30 minutes on the hike.

Canyon - great conditions: high water - first rap arch is under water, and the falls are all flowing nicely. 4th teacup could be very difficult to get out of if the handline isn't down - be sure to leave it hanging over the pool for the next group! Jumps into 5 and 6 are essential and fun! Anchors, webbing, and handlines are all solid. Final slot/swim is a beauty - long and cool.

River - fast flowing but not too hard to cross. Just a quick but hard swim.
