Highly recommend navigation tools, like AllTrails.com's app. There are trails everywhere, making the entrance surprisingly easy to miss. If you're at all in doubt, ask other people. The largest downclimb is best done if you turn around and go down facing up canyon, using the excellent fingerholds. On our return from Brimstone we ran into a young couple and their dog who were looking for PAB/Spooky but were headed very much in the wrong direction. Speaking of Brimstone, be advised that conditions of the streambed can significantly alter the energy required by the approach. It's currently mostly deep sand which is very draining. I would only recommend Brimstone to those wanting a semi-technical experience (maneuvering skills) and have lots of energy left over after PAB/Spooky. Not suitable for young children or anyone low on energy or ability. Hole in the Rock Rd. was every bit as much as a washboard showcase as everyone says.

The Hole-in-the-Rock road was terrible with washer board. Did Peek-a-boo and Spooky and back to the car in 2 hours 10 minutes. Saw 3 corn or rat snakes in Spooky. Tricky downclimb midway through from boulders.
