Water is chest deep if entered, but is all avoidable through some high stemming. In any condition water could be avoided in this Canyon through R-rated high stemming.

Lots of water that required significant effort to avoid. One pool was waist deep, the pool in the darkest section was likely deeper, but we avoided testing it. Other hallways had knee deep water. The day would have been more fun with a 3/2 wetsuit on, but still fun nonetheless. No spiders. Anchors are brand new. Six people, 4.5 hours.

Same conditions as reported before. No deep water. One party member got through dry. Otherwise, water not even to waist deep. Biggest pool is avoidable. This is a unique canyon. After rap 2, it's all about mostly vertical stemming, descending, chimneying, & elevators - probably 400 - 500 vertical feet loss in that section. Suggest you remove your harness after second rap unless you need it to hang your pack. After the last long descent, you'll look back at what you did in amazement. Canyon definitely best done without rope aiding at the drops so not recommended for those without good downclimbing skills. Party of 3 took 4:15 to complete from car park to car park with lunch break included, but including shuttle setup, retrieving 300 foot rope, etc, more like over 7 hours. Upper Muley road to canyon start has two brief but rough sections. 4WD & high clearance required. Thanks to TKPS for your post. It put this canyon on the radar for us.

Zero spiders. We also anchored the first rap from a tree, skier's right. Ghosted that anchor. Second rap had existing slingage. No third rap. Only one of four in our group got through completely dry. Use a sacrificial pair of pants. This is an exciting and unique canyon!

Spider season is here. So so many. Ankle deep water if you stem the largest pool. First two anchors are in good condition, final rappel had no webbing. Ghosted everything. First rappel was off a tree after a small down climb from the saddle aprx 190ft.
