Did West Fork and thoroughly enjoyed it. Approach was straightforward and the canyon was dry until the spring on the exit hike. Anchors are all in good shape.
Completely dry. Someone has cut the bolts for the second rappel. We were able to just meet anchor to rappel the first person and then use partner assist techniques for the remaining members of the group. However, be advised that the downclimb has a dryfall of about 10 feet that is near vertical. Thus, soloing this canyon requires either good climbing skills or anchor building skills. Overall it was a nice short canyon and is beautiful at sunset. The sun definitely glows in the canyon as the sun is setting.
All anchors good. Canyon dry. Used a sandtrap on the last rap to make it more interesting. Worked great.
Everything in great shape. Group of 11 including 10 beginners (!), 4 hours TH to TH.
Great beginner canyon, I was able to take my 4y/o son along for the trip. All bolts were in good shape. We combined the last 2 raps for a better pull. If you decide not to combine them the bolts for the last rap looked okay, not great,.
We did the West Fork. Charming beginner canyon. Straightforward rappels, nice hike to the mesa top, fine little spring-fed stream at the end. Mostly bolted rappels.
