Lots of water in the canyon. Only a few pools were cold, no wet suits taken.

What a great canyon on a summer day but bring your spring suit!!!

The hike out to the entrance was maybe 40 min from the trail head and starts as a shallow wash that progressively deepens. Everything was full to the brim, with all the recent rains.

The first 3m drop we used a meat anchor for the first person to get down, then partner assists for the rest of our 4 person group.

The 2 stage rap we did as a single stage as we had a 30m rope, but we had to bust out the pull cord. We cleaned up the webbing that made up the 2nd stage of the rap as the recent flooding had all but destroyed it. The rest of the canyon was smooth sailing.

Car to car in just under 6 hrs, and would recommend for both beginners and intermediates looking to work on their anchor building skills with minimal penalty points

Full to the brim. So much water...so many jumps (sometimes up to 30ft). Definitely need wetsuits. Some of us never even wore our harnesses and hand-lined down in a few sections.

Plenty of water to enjoy, although progressively colder and more aromatic as you descend further down canyon. All anchors used (3) were in good shape. All but two drops were down-climb-able with a spot.

Drive time in from exit 131 to TH is 35 minutes. Road is okay. We don't have an objective count, but would be inclined to say Greasewood has more potholes and pools than Upper Three. We were in and out of water probably over 18 times. At least 6 of those, we had to swim. A couple of swims were 30 - 50 feet. Two or three pools were turning black & skanky. A few other pools had completely drained. If this canyon were recently filled, it would be quite the romp. Six rappels - the last one being more of a hand-line assist through a skinny crack into the last big pool. Webbing at some anchors, though dirty & crusted, were still sound. One webbing anchor attached to a sketchy, bent over mass of vegetation in the drainage, we relocated to a boulder. Total time car to car for 3 was about 8.5 hours. One person wore a two, 3 mil shorty wetsuits. The other two wore farmer johns with jackets. Got cold at times but did okay overall. High cloud day with temps in upper 60's.

Water mostly to waist deep with a couple of pools needing a swim stroke or 2. 7 or so rappels and a few 'guided' down climbs. Views of the back of the Reef and the San Rafael Desert are superb. Road access is OK for even a Subaru-type car all the way to trailhead. Took a bit longer round-trip than Road Trip Ryan suggests.

Took 3 of us 8 hrs from car to car. We spent a lot of time in the water and at the reef at the end peering into it's depth. Great view! It would be possible to do Upper Three Canyon and Upper Greasewood in the same day, but would require a early start, fast crew, and plenty of water. We were going to do that - but our energy was spent near the end, hence the playing around.

Anchors were in new-ish shape. Downclimbs were fun - and the large blackpool was chest deep for about 20feet. Wetsuits not necessary even on a overcast day for how quick you are in and out of the water.

Like everyone else said - so so canyon.

plenty of smelly water to swim through. No wetsuits were needed. If need be you can bypass all water. Overall it was so so.

Very fun. 6 raps, about as many potholes but none deeper than chest deep. The very end before the huge drop off the reef was probably a PG slot but you can exit the canyon before this point if wanted. The huge drop would be fun to go over if you could figure out an anchor and how to get back to the car.
