Drove the offroad track to Park Tank. High clearance strongly recommended – a 4WD and a 2WD Tacoma made it fine.

Nice flow from a wet winter and modest rain in the days preceding the trip. Bypassed all but the last two rappels in Park Creek to save time, and made it through the Salome narrows by dusk.

Was dark by the time we got to the 5.7 climb up and out on RDC. The climb goes easy if you're patient about finding good hand holds – no moves I made felt sketchy. The top out is a bit awkward and exposed – the best line puts you right in a cactus. Said cactus proved to be a major PITA as I belayed up the rest of the group since the rope ran through it. Were it not already dark, we would have trundled it to simplify this climb.

Bivy'd at the top of the falls, and hiked the rest of the way up Workman the next morning. The trail crossed Workman again near the ranch, which offers a nice opportunity to filter water again for the remaining miles.
