Upper Stair Canyon, North Wash
Last Candition: October 26, 2012
Stemming the whole way with a couple breaks. A perfect intro to sustained high stemming canyons. Only small silos.
No need to get wet.
Can confirm that you should leave packs on trees before the final narrows and that picking them up on the exit takes almost no time.
We used 4WD to get there. Roads were very sandy and soft and the wind was blowing hard.
The canyon is in good shape with a few shallow pools of avoidable water.
